notes from the tralfamadorian underground.

Hi, I'm Matt Cohen, I'm a writer and this is my blog.

I review movies for a (partial) living. I just finished writing a review of this (a week late, of course) great little documentary about prolific B-grade/schlock film producer/director Roger Corman.
It’s a great film to watch if you’re a huge film buff like me, but it’s an even greater film to watch if you’re not a huge film buff because, really, the film is a celebration of the simple pleasures of cinema. It’s got a huge cast of awesome interviews (Jack Nicholson, Martin Scorcese, Peter Fonda), and some great archival footage of some of Corman’s (pretty terrible) old films. It’s one of the most fun documentaries I’ve seen in a while, and I implore you to seek out where it’s playing and go see it.
