as someone who spent some formative summer afternoons listening to ‘in the aeroplane over the sea’ on repeat through tinny dell speakers (punctuated by AIM bleeps, of course), i just want to give a big thank you to jeff mangum, who put on a truly spectacular show last night. i never imagined that i would hear those songs live, or that jeff would be so willing to share them with a real audience. i hope this continues for many more years.
So glad to have shared the experience in good company. It was truly a sensational show.
